This evening I am presenting the image of a grave-marker from Glasgow's Eastwood Old Cemetery.
It was erected by Mary Cowan in memory of :
Halliday is a Scots version of the English name Holiday and means birth/baptism on a holy day.

- Husband Alexander Halliday who died May 11 1925 age 69
- Three children who died in infancy: Willie, George and Jeanie.
