This afternoon I am presenting the image of an unusual iron memorial from Glasgow's Southern Necropolis recording the Henderson and Hetherington families.
The memorial was erected by John Henderson, Collector of Police, in memory of his wife,Marion McDonald who died June 24 1863 age 74.
John Henderson died Dec 27th 1874 age 80 years.
