This evening I am presenting an image of a grave-marker for Glasgow's Southern Necropolis.

Four of Mary's six children died in infancy whereas both Mary and her husband, James Howatt both lived to very ripe ages of 71 and 86 respectively.

Mary died on Nov 19th 1881.
